A Few Of My Writing Ideas

I have a few stories that I would like to share, in case you find them inspiring.
  •  Girl lost in the woods, finds a house.
  •  Two friends who like to switch places, both being called Jayden.
  •  Girl who is cursed so that she turns into a mermaid when she enters water.
  •  A boy finds himself in fairy land, where he is a giant. There are winged horses, fairies and elves.
  •  A jockey is riding in the Grand National in front of the King and Queen of England.
  •  Story about a pet from the pet's point of view.
  •  Jack and Jill get married
  •  Imagine a pair of people you know and imagine that the were going to get married. Imagine their relationship. It doesn't matter if their married or not, unless you want to work with that too. It also doesn't matter if their in love or not.
Now if you want, feel free to go and write a story. Or go write down any ideas for stories that you may have come up with while reading this. Even if you don't want to write at all, someone you know may want to use them. And if you get ideas, WRITE THEM DOWN! For an idea that is forgotten is as good and no ideas at all. And if you want ideas, try going for a long walk, somewhere you don't have to pay much attention to your surroundings, and just relax and enjoy being outside. I have gotten a lot of my ideas that way, by walking my dog around my neighborhood. I have also gotten a few lying down, just letting my mind wander. Just letting your mind wander is one of the best ways to get ideas.
Hopefully all this information will be useful to those of you who like writing, but are not very good at coming up with ideas, and to those of you who didn't know how to start writing. And if you get any ideas that you want to turn into stories, you will want to save them. I know it sounds crazy, but if you don't believe me, go to my source, Writing Magic by Gail Carson Levine. That book is worth it's weight in gold, as far as i am concerned. She is the beginning writer's goddess. She is amazing, truly. If your into writing, or even if you aren't, her blog is cram packed full of writing information. Gail Carson Levine is the name of her blog.
If you want to, you can write wings for yourself. All you need is imagination, and paper & pen or your computer. The world of writing is yours to explore.

Sadness About Today & Writing

I am sad that I didn't have a chance to write today! I was planning on it, but I got to do other things. I really wanted to try something that Gail Carson Levine said to try, in the chapter "Fiddling with Fairy Tales" (chap. 27 in Writing Magic), for me fiddling with Rupunzel. I have lots of new ideas, and want to try them out.
But I was finishing beads, and if you want to know more about that, visit my other blog, My Homeschool Blog.

W.M. Assignments

I have been doing exercises from a book called Writing Magic by Gail Carson Levine. I will refer to this book as W.M. from now on.
I did the writing exercises from chapters 1-3. I had way too much fun with them. I didn't want to stop so I could go to bed. That was a big struggle to come over, stopping. But I did, even though I am still tired.

Hello!

I am so exited to start this new blog! I don't have time right now to write a good post, but I thought that I should at least say hello.
